Prayers for Matthew Solberg, he is the son of a very dear friend. He was a tow truck driver and very early on Saturday morning he was shot in the stomach by someone who didn’t want to pay for his vehicle being towed. Matthew is currently in ICU and has had 2 surgeries. The doctors said that he will be in the hospital at least 7 to 10 days, but he will have a long recovery. His mom is requesting prayers for Matthew and his family.

Requesting prayers for Laura Juarez. She is the mother-in-law of Kyle Solberg, which is our son Jacob‘s best friend. Several weeks ago she suffered a stroke and they discovered a mass in her brain. She is now headed to Mayo Clinic in Minnesota so they can determine what the mass is. Her family is requesting prayers.

Prayers for Crystal Wilson. Crystal is my first cousin and about 5 years ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a successful treatment at that time. The cancer has come back and there are few treatment options available to her. She has gotten approval from insurance for a cancer pill that they are hoping will help in treating this cancer. She is fighting as best as she can but the cancer is a triple negative which I am told is the worst type. Crystal has 2 young sons and husband. Please pray for her and her family.

Prayers for Ian Dunlap. Ian is one of my brother's best friends from high school. He was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma cancer which has already spread to his spine and all over his abdomen. It also formed many blood clots that caused several problems. We found out about this 3 weeks ago and he is already on hospice with no prospect of treatment. He is only 42 years old and has two young children and a wife. They do not believe he will be here much longer due to the nature and aggressiveness of this cancer. Please pray for him and more importantly his family.

Pray for peace. Be with the Jews, Palestinians, Ukrainians, Afghans and the many oppressed people of this world. We see the struggle and feel powerless. May Israel heal; may the Palestines receive a home where they can go freely; may Ukraine be made whole again; and May the Afghan people, women and children grow up in freedom. Help us to find a path to peace.
