Children's Ministry

birth - 5th grade

We strive to partner with parents to raise children who live like Jesus.  We lead by example in hopes that our children will display Liberty Christian Church's core values of welcome, encourage, serve, compassion, and joy in all that they do.

children's ministry programs

All children's ministry programs meet on the 2nd floor of the education building.  You can take the stairs across from the church office to access the 2nd floor of the education building.  If you have any questions or would like additional information, please reach out to our Children's Ministry Leader, Kelly Schneikart.

  • Children's Choir meets at 9:00 am each Sunday morning in the choir room.  We invite all children to participate.  The choir will perform once a month during our worship service from September - May.

  • Sunday School starts after Children's Choir each Sunday. We strive to wrap up Children's Choir and begin Sunay School by 9:15 am.  All of our Sunday school teachers and children's ministry volunteers undergo background checks and training every two years per the church's Safe Spaces policy.

  • Our church nursery is available on Sundays starting at 8:45 am.  We staff the nursery with professional childcare workers.  Miss Donna has worked in the church nursery for over 30 years caring for multiple generations of the same families. Her daughter, Miss Katlyn, joins her in the nursery. We are blessed to have Miss Donna and Miss Katlyn caring for our children each week.

  • Children's church is available every week during worship. Children will start off worship with their families in the sanctuary and are invited to Children's Church after the Children's Moment. For families that prefer to stay together during worship, there are worship bags available at the back of the sanctuary. Children's Church is a combination of crafts, games, and Christian videos. The material is geared towards children aged 3 years - 2nd grade, but we encourage families to use Children's Church as it best fits the needs of their family.

  • JYF is our youth group for children in 3rd, 4th & 5th grades. We meet during the school year on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month right after worship and wrap up around 12:30. Our JYF meetings include a fun, interactive Bible study and games.  Activities and service opportunities are scheduled throughout the year as well.
