Frequent Questions
How do I get there?
Liberty Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is located in Downtown Liberty, Missouri - just off the Historic Liberty Square. Our address is 427 E. Kansas Street. You will find that this address will take you to the Historic entrance to our church, but you will probably want to drive around to the back of the church to access our major parking lot.
Where should I park?
The major parking lot for our church is located off East Mill Street, next to Macarena's Mexican Restaurant and across the street from Cody's Quick Stop.
Where do I go?
When parking in the main parking lot, you will want to enter under the green awning. Once you're inside, follow the hallway until you see stairs on your right. (An elevator is located just through the double doors if that is your preference). After climbing the stairs, you will be on the second floor of our education building. If you have children interested in Sunday School or our Youth programming, that will happen in this area. If you're heading straight to the sanctuary, continue to your right. You'll cross through the breezeway and soon be in the back of our beautiful sanctuary. You'll know you've made it when you see the stained glass windows.
Where do my kids go?
All of our children's programming takes place on the second floor of the education building. When entering from the parking lot, look for the door with the green awning. Once inside, look for a staircase and make your way to the second story. All of our children's classrooms and youth rooms are located in this building.
What should I wear?
We invite you to wear what makes you comfortable. Some people enjoy dressing up each week for church. Others prefer coming in jeans. We want you to feel comfortable here no matter what clothing you choose!
What are services like?
You'll find our Sunday services are a a combination of traditional church and modern worship. You will hear music from our organ and our praise band. We will hear a scripture-based message from one of our ministers. In addition, we will engage in prayers and weekly communion - an important component in the Disciples of Christ denomination.
